How do installers make money
Two ways. You buy FleetBold devices at an installer discount and keep your resale margin. You also earn a recurring monthly commission per active subscription you installed.
What discount do I get on devices
About 20 percent off the regular public price for approved installers.
Can I resell the GPS at my own price
Yes. You are free to set your market price. Your margin is the difference between your buy price and your sell price.
How much is the monthly commission
$3 dollars per active subscription every month for as long as the subscription stays active. This is roughly 30 percent of the base monthly plan.
When do commissions start
After the device is activated and the customer subscription is live.
When are payouts sent
Monthly between the 10th and 15th of the following month or earlier if the batch closes sooner.
How do you pay me
Direct deposit to your bank account via Stripe Connect.
Is there a cap on earnings
No cap. The more devices you install and keep active, the more you earn.
What happens if a customer cancels
The monthly commission stops the month after the subscription ends. Past payouts remain yours.
Do I get a statement
Yes. You receive a monthly statement showing new activations, active subscriptions, cancellations, and the payout total.
How do you track my installs and commissions
Every GPS you order from FleetBold is tagged to your Shop ID. When the customer activates the device, that subscription is automatically linked to your Shop ID. From that moment your 3 dollars monthly commission accrues while the subscription stays active.
What if the customer activates later or with a different phone
No problem. As long as the unit was purchased under your Shop ID, the subscription will still attach to your Shop ID at activation.
What if I install a device the client bought elsewhere
Use your Installer Activation Code at activation time to claim the install. If the device cannot be linked, that subscription will not generate monthly commission for your Shop ID.
How do I buy devices
Batch orders in multiples of 10 units. For ordering email us to support@fleetbold.com to place the order and confirm shipping.
How do I pay for devices right now
Zelle for now. You will receive instructions by email after order confirmation.
Do you ship nationwide
Yes. We send tracking when the order ships. Delivery time depends on stock and location.
Do I need to cut factory wires
No. We expect clean, reversible installs using fuse taps and safe grounds.
Who activates the device
Customer activates the subscription. The installer can and should assist on site to ensure proper payment and to secure the payout.
Are devices waterproof
Yes for the hardwired unit. Follow the placement guide provided.
What happens if a device is DOA or fails early
Devices carry a standard warranty. If a unit arrives dead or fails under normal use, we replace it after basic troubleshooting and RMA approval.
Do I have a predefined resale price
No. Installers set their own resale price. You’re free to adjust your sell price as you see fit, as long as the customer agrees.
If a customer brings me a FleetBold GPS to install, how do I earn commission
You keep 100 percent of your installation fee, and you also earn the 3 dollars monthly commission for as long as the customer keeps the subscription active. Make sure to claim the device at activation using your Shop ID or Installer Activation Code so the subscription attaches to your account.
